Dr.Budditha Hettige

Dr. Budditha Hettige received his Master's in the field of Philosophy from the University of Moratuwa in 2011, where he specialized in the Computational Grammar of Sinhala for English-Sinhala Machine Translation. He received his Doctorate from the University of Moratuwa in 2020, where he specialized in Multi-Agent Technology for Automatic Machine Translation. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer and the Head of the Computer Engineering Department of KDU. He has received many awards in this field.

Mr.B.A.Kavinda Manjula is a Solution Director in the Cloud Department at Huawei Technologies Lanka Co.(PVT LTD). He has over 19+ years of work experience in the Telecommunications Engineering Industry. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka, a professional body for engineers in the country. He started his career as an Engineer at Mobitel Pvt Ltd and changed his career path towards Solution Sales after joining Huawei 16 years back. He completed his Master's in Business Administration at the University of Colombo in 2010.

Dr.Chathura Rajapakse

Dr.Chathura Rajapakse received his Master's and Doctorate in the field of Computational Intelligence and System Science from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and he is a speaker on Data Mining and Databases. He is a person who is very enthusiastic in his work and is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Computing at the Department of Industrial Management, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya and also he is the Director of the Center for Strategic Planning and University Statistics, University of Kelaniya since 2022. He was the Academic Advisor of the Bachelor of Science in Management and Information Technology Degree Programme(2016-2020)and also he is a visiting lecturer to various state and non-state higher education institutes in Data Science/Analytics since 2015.

Ms. Thanushika Jathunga is a highly qualified and experienced lecturer in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. She holds a PG Diploma in Electrical Installation from the University of Moratuwa, an MSc in IT from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the same institution. Ms. Jathunga has also worked as a research assistant at the University of Peradeniya, providing her with a strong background in research and academic pursuits. With her expertise and experience, she is well-positioned to deliver insightful and engaging presentations on a wide range of topics related to Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Mr.Laksith is currently working as the Engineering Manager (Consultant) at Amithi Power Consultants (Pvt) Ltd with a continuing experience in the Electrical Engineering Consultancy sector for nearly 9 years in projects in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Maldives & United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Electrical Engineer (Sri Lanka) & a Level 2 Certified Thermographer (USA), actively engaging in the industry as a Consulting Engineer, Trainer, Mentor & Visiting Lecturer. Eng. Mr.Laksith graduated from the University of Moratuwa in 2014 & completed his MSc in Electrical Installations from the University of Moratuwa in 2018 with his research interest oriented in Blackout Restoration.
